Freenup

Days Left: 226 days as of today

Got my first freebie from w@w. Free prenup "freenup" from sis leng.

When I saw Ms. Benz's post about a Freenup I immediately emailed Sis Leng if there's still a slot available. When she emailed back she asked for the date and location of the Prenup. Yey!!!!

One of the perks of being a w@wie... =)

We're the 14th out of the 30 Lucky w@wies.
Thank you sis Leng. See you soon... =)

The Beginning of Forever

Days Left: 227 days as of today

Things you will need:
  • Power Point (any version)
  • Copy of the map (be as accurate as possible, I used www.weddingmapper.com)
  • Images of the church, reception and some landmarks (I got mine on Google, or you can use actual pictures)
Instructions:

  • What we did first is make the map using wedding mapper.
  • Then Print Screen and copy paste it to Paint. Then I cropped just the places that needs to be placed on the official map, then save.
  • Open Power point.
  • Insert the Image on a blank page
  • Using the "CURVE" tool, draw a line from the Ceremony to the reception, by just tracing the map. Be as acurate as you want to be.

(it's okay if your line is not perfect)
  • Change the color and thickness to differentiate the main road, minor roads, etc.

(it's a lot of work)
  • Once you draw the lines that need to be included in your wedding map you may remove the original map.

  • That will be the framework of your map.
  • Now you can start putting the Church, Reception and landmarks on your map.
  • You can also put directions if you want.
  • Be as creative as you want.

  • If you're happy with your work, save it.

I want to thank:
http://sweetsimplejoys.com I got the idea from this blog.

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Printing - - - - Check

Days Left: 229 days as of today

I've been searching for months to where we can have our notepads printed. I was browsing my Facebook and went to a friend's page just to check something then I saw a multiply site of his so I checked it out.when I saw in his photos that he prints Bag Tags I instantly inquired for the prices. Of course he is a friend so he gave me a discount. To make the long story short (and since I have the story on my first post already) we have a new supplier... =)

Details:
Budget: very very good
Comment: easy to talk to (since he is a friend)

That's it. Till Next Time.

One Productive Night

Days Left: 229 days as of today

It's a slight productive night for me. I got so inspired looking at Bridal Book's photos I instantly remembered I have things to follow up. I was glad that my friend is online I got to talk to him regarding my Bag tag. Last week I gave him a layout and asked him if he could print one for me so that I could see the sample. He showed me the sample just now and i loved it. Happy with my layout. So that's a go already.

Then we started talking about wedding preparations since he's getting married as well. Then he asked me if I still have anything that i need in his shop. I remembered about our notepads. He said he can print it as well. Finally. After months of searching and asking around he's the only solution to my problem.

So now I just have to revised my layouts (notepad and bagtag) a bit and make it clearer. Then Then we can start printing already.

Thank you Pau. I'm glad I could help with your mini business I know you need every penny you get with that because you're getting married too. =)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Our Cartoon

Days Left: 235 days as of today

I was looking for some friends who can draw "us". Unfortunately my friends who used to draw don't draw anymore so it will be hard for them to draw a caricature. I told Charles to asked around their office if anyone can do it. Good thing he has an officemate who draws anime so we gave him a picture of us and our uniform style and here's the finished product:

(not exactly like us but it can do)

Thanks Onin, we know your not a caricature artist but at least you tried and we loved it... :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Invitation Layout

Days Left: 237 days as of today

Finally, the first thing I did when I got my laptop was make our invitation layout. I spent at least 3 hours with the layout. We wanted a simple invitation, he's satisfied with the output but I think it's too plain. So feel free to help me decorate it some more. =)

(the first one is our insert, the second one is our main invite)

What we will do is use fold the Bigger paper (2nd picture) in half and put the insert inside that folded paper... hmmmm... =) So what's missing?

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Coordinator - - - - Check

Days Left: 247 days as of today

It's official I have my wedding coordinator. Last December 29, 2010 we paid the 50% already. Since Lara (our coordinator) is our classmate's sister she gave me a discounted rate for a Turn over wedding coordination. We are opting only for the on-the-day coordinator.

Even before we get her as our coordinator no contract signing and all she is already helping us scout for suppliers and she frequently texts us regarding our wedding. She's also the first person we told that our wedding will be moved.

Our next meeting would be February to give her the update with our wedding preps.

Details:
Bugdet: Just right
Comment: She's very very accommodating and helpful

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)
