Hotel Hotel where art thou?

Charles wanted to booked Astoria for our wedding preps and after the wedding. I guess it's okay since we got a great deal and the room is really big. It can accommodate a lot of people specially on the day itself with all the suppliers that will come. The only thing that's keeping me from not booking them is that I think it's far from our church. Sulo Riviera is very expensive for just one night so another NO NO. So we checked out Rembrandt Hotel, the rooms are nice not too big and not too small either. The rate is okay too. No swimming pool though. I think we are considering this Hotel for the Day. :)

I wish the search for the Hotel will be done soon.

Unique Topper - - - - Check

The night after we talked to Sir Ceasar of Hearts and Bells. I immediately went online to look for a unique cake topper. After hours of researching and looking for the most affordable one. I came across to this site.

What is Polymer Clay? (according to Wikipedia)

I was browsing my Facebook and went to a friend's page just to check something then I saw a multiply site of his so I checked it out.when I saw in his photos that he prints Bag Tags I instantly inquired for the prices. Of course he is a friend so he gave me a discount. To make the long story short (and since I have the story on my first post already) we have a new supplier... =)

Photobooth - - - - Check

Yesterday Charles & I went to the Kasalan 2010 at SM Megamall. We are looking for this particular supplier, that's the only reason why we wanted to go. After roaming around the event 3 times we can't seem to find that supplier. We accidentally run into this other supplier. They seem to have a good promo package and the quality is good. After trying their pictures. We walked away for awhile and after a few steps we went back to their spot and signed the contract.

A Productive Day

Date: Oct. 04, 2010 (Monday)

Masama daw maglabas ng pera pag monday dahil magtutuloy-tuloy daw ang labas ng pera ng buong linggo. But we have no choice. Pag may pera na kailangan magbayad sa supplier. =)

B.A. Studio

I scheduled last saturday to meet up with them for additional payment. Our scheduled meet-up is at Waltermart North Edsa by 1pm on Monday. Come monday Ms. Evelyn our contact person called me and asked if we can move it by 2pm. So i said it's okay. By 2:15pm I left the house to go to waltermart since it's near our house i arrived just before 2:30pm. I texted Ms. Evelyn to tell her that I'm at the place already but she didn't reply. after 15mins still no reply. So i decided to go to Mercury first. Still no reply, so I went to the bank. At around 3pm a Ms. Rose from BA texted and she said she's on her way (take note: on her way) Charles is getting annoyed already because it has been an hour and I'm alone. After 30 mins Ms. Rose finally arrived. She apologized for being late because she came from libis. For me it is not an excuse to let your client wait for you for an hour and a half but i kept my temper cool since I'm in a good mood that day. So I gave her the money and signed the receipt and we said our thank you's and goodbye.

Finally after months of asking and telling Charles that its about time to pay for our rings we did eventually did it... =) Muntikan pa kaming masarahan cause they close the stores at 7pm. We arrived there a little past 7pm buti na lang Ms. Cai attended to us pa but we paid for the exact amount cause their vault is closed already. No worries there. And we told her that we moved the wedding date to next year.

Yey for us for a productive and expensive day. =)

Due to lack of time I forgot to check out simplejoys to look for accessories for my DIY wedding cord. Maybe next time.

Tarlaquena Food Specialists is the in-house caterer of Village Patio. We got both of them because we've tried their food and saw the place already all dressed up for a wedding. It is simple yet elegant just the way we like it.

P/V - - - - Check

If you can still remember I recently blog about still not having my P/V and couturier. I finally booked one of them. HAPPINESSSSSSSS.... :)

Before the fair nagsulat na kami ni Charles kung ano-ano pa mga hahanapin namin sa expo para hindi sayang sa oras. Here's our list:

• P/V
• Photobooth
• HMU
• Musicians
• Flowers

Wala akong masyadong flowers na nakita so hindi ko na muna pinagtyagaan yung mga nandun. More on P/V and Photobooth yung hinanap namin. Pero isang supplier yung talagang agaw pansin samin ni Charles. Kasi naman noh Neon Green ang color ng name nila. Tapos yung AE na nakausap ko talagang ang sabi niya kagad sakin.

"Mam magkano budget mo para sa P/V?"

So ayun nung nag discuss kami ng packages, onsite, payment schemes and reservation. And syempre nung available pa yung date namin. Naging mas interested kami sa kanila. After the sat expo I explained again kay Charles yung pinagusapan namin nung AE. and nagustuhan naman niya. So nung sunday bumalik kami sa expo just to book our P/V. Just to be safe pinasulat ko sa contract yung pinagusapan namin nung AE nung sat para lang sure na lahat.

After reading the contract and discussing it again. I gave the reservation na imbis na 5k naging 2k reservation lang. She even gave me a free mannequin for my gown. We closed the deal by signing the contract. Thank you Ate Joan for the Budget package you gave me. I'll talk to you soon... :)

Before I Do 6th Edition Wedding Fair 2 SM Megamall but of course I wouldn't miss it. Suppliers to scout for:

1 out of 4 things was accomplished, and it is our wedding band.

We found this ring that I really like but of course with Charles on my side he wants something else and I want something else. A little discussion here and there and a lot of questions and rings that Ms. Karen showed us. Finally we decided on one specific ring that we both like.

Charles & I went to the Wedding Fair to look for potential suppliers and of course to score some discounts and freebies. We made a list and what's our budget first on what to look on the fair:

6. Cake

So i thought it will easy for us to move and what to look for. But then again. After 5 hours of walking around and around. We decided to just get the cake. They have a free taste of some of their cakes so we tried the chocolate one since Charles knows I love chocolate cake, and we love it. So we made a reservation already.

Step by Step

Ayun so nag paka nerd na naman ako at sobrang walang magawa sa office kaya gumawa ako ng Excel for our budget plans. Okay naman yung ginawa ko ang feeling namin ni Charles sobrang makakatulong siya. Tsaka okay na rin na gumawa ako non habang hindi pa kami stressed out sa pag aayos ng wedding namin para walang makakalimutan and we would know our priorities.
