Trial Makeup

Days Left: 23 days as of today

July 30

Went at Peps Silvestre Salon on a Sunday morning 7am to be exact to have my trial make-up I know I don't need one anymore but since we will be having our pre-nup might as well use it right?!

We are so stressed the days before the pre-nup, because we tried to look for our outfits. Saturday morning we went to Divilandia to but something for a friend then we went to visit my sister, so long story short we are both dead tired and we got home late 11pm late then we slept at 3am because I made sure we have everything we need for our pre-nup. I fixed our clothes mix and match with accessories and shoes plus we made our couples shirts. Yes we made them... :) So here's my trial make-up with Sir Peps.

(good morning world)

(the haggard looking me)
(rainy sunday, good thing indoor pre-nup kami)

(waiting)

( :D )

(nice)

( soft look)

(love my lashes)

(loving my hair)

(look ma, i have a beehive in my head. thinking of having hair extensions)

(sneaking up a pic almost done with our pre-nup)

I love how soft feeling my make-up is. We started our pre-nup at 10am and ended at 5pm the only retouch that I made was powder and lipstick. But I think I want my beehive hair to be bigger. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Unique Topper - - - - Check

Days Left: 37 days as of today

The night after we talked to Sir Ceasar of Hearts and Bells. I immediately went online to look for a unique cake topper. After hours of researching and looking for the most affordable one. I came across to this site.

She uses polymer clay for the toppers and other charms that she makes.

What is Polymer Clay? (according to Wikipedia)

Polymer clay is a sculptable material based on the polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It usually contains no clay minerals, and is only called "clay" because its texture and working properties resemble those of mineral clay. It is sold in craft, hobby, and art stores, and is used by artists, hobbyists, and children.

Polymer clays all contain a basis of PVC and one or more of several kinds of liquid plasticizer.[1] Pigments may be added to the translucent base to create a variety of colors, along with small amounts of kaolin or white china clay or other opaquing agents where opacity is desired. Mica may be added to simulate pearlescent and metallic effects.

After 2 days of messaging back and forth and passed the order form. I made it official by depositing the Down payment.

Cake Design

Days Left: 38 days as of today

Last July 13 we met with Sir Ceasar, cake artist of Hearts & Bells, for our cake design. It was a fast meeting because we know what we wanted for our cake already. Of course we still want to incorporate our theme with the cake. While we are discussing the design and colors of the cake he took our a paper and his color pens. He just started doodling and while doodling he is explaining to us our cake topper. I told him I want to preserved our topper because it is a unique one. They don't have any other materials that they can use to preserved the topper because they only use fondant for it. I told him I'll just look for a supplier for that. We will received the final design of our cake after 2 days.

Sorry no pictures yet... I want it to be a surprise... But trust me It is so cute can't wait to see the final product. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Flowers - - - - - Check

Days Left: 63 days as of today

As per schedule Charles, Lara (our coordinator) & I went to dangwa to visit the Florist that lara recommended.

When we went to the shop the owner, Ate Lanie, showed us some pictures of the bouquets and set up in the church that they made. We started envisioning the flowers/bouquets for the ento since I don't know what I want yet for my bouquet. She showed me every flower that she is saying or suggesting. Beforehand I told Lara that I don't know anything about flowers that's why I asked her to accompany us with the florist for her help. So the two of them combined their powers with everything. They just show me pictures for me to see what is what. When we agreed with the flowers to be used for everyone including me and also for the church. Ate Lanie started computing. Lara immediately said "Ate major major discount ha, may isa pa akong kasal na dadalin sayo" we all laughed and she didn't hesitated with the discount. Thank you ate.

So here's our output:
Bride - handtied with Hydrengea blue & Green Carnations.
MOH - 2 stems White Calla Lillies
2 Mothers - Wrist with carnations and gerbera
7 Ninangs - Wrist with Gerbera white & Botton Mums
4 Bridesmaids - Pomander with White Botton Mums
3 Secondary Sponsors - Pomander with white Botton Mums
4 Flower Girls - White Botton Mums in Tin Cans

Church:
8 pcs - Tree with Pomander for the aisles
2 pcs - One sided for the aisles

Freebies:
Loose Petals
Throw Away Bouquet
Car Bouquet
Offertory

We just need to ask the Church if what time they can set up and if they have swags available.
Thanks for all the freebies and the Major major discount.

P.S.
Ate Lanie I will not forget the free bridal bouquet for Lara for her wedding, 38 pcs handtied tulips for her bouquet. :)

Details:
Budget: Just right.
Comment: Lot's of freebies... :)

DIY: Our Quirky Rosary Cord - - - - Check

Days Left: 77 days as of today

When I finally finished our wedding cord, I immediately showed it to h2b. He's really impressed of what I did, because at first he can't picture it out. Every time I buy something bit by bit for the cord like the initials and the crucifix he kept on asking me "what for?!" This has been a trial and error project for me. At first I don't want to use pins because I'm scared it might get caught with my gown or h2b's barong but when I tried to use a thick nylon it's too heavy, so I just used the pins I just made sure that eveything is intact.

Excited much to post this DIY... :)

(L-R, top-bottom)
(our motif beads, pic 2-4 trinkets, pic 5 initials and crucifix, my trusty and rusty pliers and long nose)

Steps: (Hope you understand this)

1. Insert the pin into the beads. If there's an excess on the pin you can cut it using your pliers.
2. Twist the other end part of your pin. Secure your eye (the twisted part of the pin) to make sure that the other pin that will follow will not be detached.
3. Insert the other eye of your beads to the first one. Until you form a chain. (It is easier for me to finish a set of "eye-bead-eye" before I put another set than doing a few sets then removing the eye to connect to form the chain)
4. Continue making the chain to form at least 50 inches before you connect the chain to a trinket of your choice.
5. Do a second chain by doing steps 1-3.
6. Connect your chains or rosary, if you prefer it more, to a ring or a trinket of your choice.
7. Secure every eye that you make just to make sure that everything is in place and will not fall off easily.

I bought the beads and the trinkets at Welmanson. The crucifix I bought it at St. Paul in SM North and the letters in a bead shop I forgot the name it's in Trinoma. The other materials like the pins and the pliers I have it before when I use to do my own earrings, but they have it at Welmanson as well.

That's it. Till Next Time.

Meeting with Lara

Days Left: 176 days as of today

Last Saturday (March 12) we had our meeting with our coordinator and I asked my MOH to accompany us so that she could meet her as well. Good thing I have my MOH beside me because Charles is not very much hearing what we are saying, he keeps on leaving us and walking around the mall... :) Oh Men!!!!!

The meeting went well. She gave me the name of a Florist because I think that's the only missing link for our wedding. We are scheduled to go to dangwa on the 26th.

We go over the suppliers that we booked already and the payments that we made. We noted some questions that need to be asked especially with the church. That's about it so far.

Late Valentines Date

Days Left: 200 days as of today

It was just yesterday that Charles and I celebrated Valentines. He planned everything, I don't have any clue where we are going or what we are going to do for the night.

First of Cerchio, he made reservations by 7pm but I took so long to get ready so he called again to move the reservation by 8pm.

Orders:
Chicken Penne with Pesto Cream
Peri-peri Chicken
Thai Sinuglaw
Cool as Cucumber

The place is okay. But the food is absolutely good. :)

Second: Jack's Loft Il Terrazo. Just for dessert and coffee.

Orders:
Cappucino
Cafe White Mocha
Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake

I love love love my Cafe white mocha but the cake not so much... I wished I just ordered the warm chocolate cake.

Third: Blue Water Spa, another reservation moved from 9pm to 10:15pm.

While waiting for our room to be cleaned we stayed at their Spa Theatre and watched Wanted.
Our room has it's own toilet and bath. What a way to finish the date relax.

Thanks hon for the lovely day. I'm so proud of you, your plan was a success. We will do this again next time. But next time I'll make the plans. :)

I love you so much my soon to be husband.
200 more days to say our I do's. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.
