So we changed our minds...

So yes we changed our minds for the nth time... But this time it's final because we bought our DIY projects already at Divilandia. I'll just make the story short so here goes:

Theme: from Movie to School Themed Wedding

DIY: Notepads, Pencil, Monograms, Invites, Other Souvenirs

Why School Themed Wedding?

Just like our story in our wedsite (www.mywedding.com/colormyworldteal) Charles & I met during grade school and became close friends during high school. So we both think that it will be the most perfect theme for our wedding. Plus we got inspired with a few pictures of school themed weddings while searching at Google. Some pics:

The ever dreadful LIST

Days Left: 461 days as of today

I know it is part of the wedding preparations but it is very very... very stressful to make a list and check it twice, thrice or even four times. With the help of my mom & lola our guest list of 230 became 180. Finally our intimate wedding will happen. And of course another cut down on our budget so that's a plus point again. Oh lord keep it coming. :)

Table Letters

Days Left: 462 days as of today

Finally! After months and months of editing, changing colors, fonts, & design. We made our decision regarding our Table Numbers, I mean Letters. Here's some of it.

Why "Table Letter"?

At first I made a batch in Numbers. I made like 3 batches. Then just last night Charles & I decided to make it letters instead. Since we will be having a Movie Themed Wedding. Just like in Movie Theaters, when you get your ticket you choose from seat letters & numbers. (ie. Isle A seat 1 & 2). That's how we came up with this.

We don't know yet what standee to use for this but Charles is thinking of using a stairs for it. Hmmmmmm.... is this our next DIY? :)

Changing Colors

Days left: 492 days as of today

Since we changed our Wedding Date, Charles & I have been changing almost everything with the details. First of we changed our motif. Oh the colors. Every time Charles says he wants this color or that color I have been adding Red to it.

He wants Black and white.
I say Why not Black, white & red.
He says: Black, white & aqua.
I say: Black, white, aqua & red.

But unfortunately I did not win. He is really not a fan of Red. So we ended up with one color that we both like and choosing another color that is truly unexpected. The then Peacock colors became: Chocolate Brown & Aqua.

Let me be inspired with the color palette that we chose.
