Lights & Sounds

Days Left: 56 days as of today

I texted Elmer if he is still available on our Date. After 20 hrs he replied and sadly he is not available anymore, I asked him if he can recommend someone like his other team but he did not reply anymore. So i decided to look for other suppliers. I looked for Sensitivity but I read that their at least 3x higher that Rejectcrew, then I saw Jamsy. The following day I texted them if they are still available on our Date. After a few hours he replied and said Yes. I asked how much. He said their lowest rate is 8k. Then after a few back and forth text messaging he called and asked regarding the venue and so on. So I just asked if we could meet up instead. Eventhough they are from Paranaque he agreed to meet us at SM North Edsa.

July 13
We met Sir Arnold regarding their Lights and Sounds. He brought some pictures of the events they covered. Mostly on Mandarin Hotel. I don't know anything about lights and sounds so he and Charles just talked about it. What lights to use and the machines they use for the sounds, etc. After a few more minutes we decided to come to one of their event to see the actual set up and sounds that they do for a wedding. We paid 1k just to close the date. And he will just text me or email me the events here in Quezon City.

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

6 months more

Days Left: 182 days as of today

6 more months before our Big Day. I don't know what I'm feeling. I'm not nervous or excited yet. As for the wedding preps. We are moving a bit slow. I don't know why. Let's see what I'm doing right now.
  • I'm still updating and fixing our invitation design. Checking and checking it twice if I got the names right. -- DONE
  • Looking for a trinket to put on our wedding cord. -- DONE
  • Still waiting for the confirmation of my possible HMUA if he's available on my date. -- DONE
  • MOH and I are trying to decide what gowns is suitable for my ento. Email back and forth.
  • Waiting for the confirmation of our possible first pre-nup venue. -- DONE
  • Done with our wedding rings just need to go there 2 mos before the wedding for the final design and fitting.
I think that's about it for now.

Happy preps. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

The ever dreadful LIST

Days Left: 461 days as of today

I know it is part of the wedding preparations but it is very very... very stressful to make a list and check it twice, thrice or even four times. With the help of my mom & lola our guest list of 230 became 180. Finally our intimate wedding will happen. And of course another cut down on our budget so that's a plus point again. Oh lord keep it coming. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Meet our Best Man and Maid of Honor

Days Left: 478 days as of today

I back read my blog and I noticed that my first and last blog regarding my ento is my first blog. So I want to introduce our entourage. Members of the entourage play an important role in the wedding. You can choose from your family or closest friends. Here's our list:

Best Man- this role is given to the person closest to the groom. He usually organizes the Bachelor/Stag Party (a clean one, i hope) He assists the groom in preparing on the day itself and he make sure that the groom gets to the wedding on time. He gives a speech for the bride and groom and offers the first toast on the reception. The Best Man Role goes to....

(Carlos, the one and only brother/sibling of the groom.)

Maid of Honor- she's usually the person to run to by the bride if she need help preparing for the wedding, specially if the groom is not around to help. She helps the bride in preparing for the day itself and be with her physically and mentally. She plans and host the Bachelorette party or Bridal Shower. She holds the bouquet during the exchanging of wedding rings and fix the veil and train of the bride before, during and after the ceremony. The Maid of Honor role goes to...

(Cjae, the bride's bruness since 3rd year college)

Next time I'll introduce our Secondary Sponsors.

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Bridal Fair @ The PICC Forum

Date: March 13-14, 2010
Days Left: 202 days as of today

DAY 1

Charles and I went to the wedding fair but of course... :) Here's our usual list of suppliers to look for:
  • P/V
  • HMU
  • Photobooth
  • Musicians
  • Flowers
(our free canvass bag, magazine, cd, directory of exhibitors and our 2 name tags)

We went there around 10:30 am, and as expected ang dami ng tao. The hardest thing to find are the flowers, sobrang onti lang ata or hindi ko lang talga sila masyadong napansin so hindi ako nakapag pa qoute for it. Mas naging busy kami looking for HMU and P/V. Dalawang beses lang ata ako nagtanong ng Musicians, Bernie Pasamba & Totally Mesmerized. With P/V naman, B.A. Studios (who got my attention), Enoxx Enterprise (Lomo shots) & Rjm Photography. With HMU naman, Diana Kwong, I Do Makeup by Jasmine Mendiola & Irene Manigo. After long hours of talking to possible suppliers and countless of brochures in the free bag. We finally decided to have our late lunch @ around 2pm and to call it a day. Uber pagod. Tomorrow will be another day.

DAY 2

(Fantasy Kiosk Photobooth)

(Funlipix Photobooth)

Late na kami nagpunta for some personal reasons. Dalawa na lang naman kasi yung reason namin for going back. First para mag pa reserve sa B.A. Studio to block our dates. Second Maglibot at mag try ng photobooth. Kaso mas maraming tao ngayon kaya dalawa lang yung pictures namin sa Photobooth, Fantasy Kiosk and Funlipix.

Happy at least may P/V na kami. One major Supplier down... :)

PS: Finally met some co-w@wies. Sis Aby and H2b Ryan & Sis Mai... :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Let's see

Date: August 10, 2009 (Monday)

Eventhough we haven't decided on the exact date and even if we haven't told our parents yet, we started planning already. Just a few drafts on what to look for or what theme and motif we want.

Thank GOD for forums. It made it easier to where to start planning. I read a 54 pages thread at femalenetwork for suppliers to scout for. Here's what I wrote down and researched:

  • Gracecraft's gifts and souvenirs
I found this cute tin canisters at their multiply site. For Php 65 each i think it's okay. But still need to look for some more and maybe a little less Php 50.

  • Treasured Trinkets
Another possible souvenir. I like this salt and pepper shakers. But it's a little bit pricey. It's Php 237 a pair.

  • Cosmo Print

Now on Promo rates:
3hrs unlimited – P8,ooo.oo
2hrs unlimited – P7.ooo.oo
1hr unlimited – P5,ooo.oo (ideal for small parties)

Package Includes:
postcard size (4×6) lab quality prints
live view feature
fabric Backdrop
CD copy of all images taken
delivery and set-up (one hour before the event)
custom text or logo or theme on prints
use of props
online gallery of all photos taken at http://cosmoprint.multiply.com
on-site technician/s

  • Jumbo Kingdom

A floating restaurant at Manila. They offer per table set up which costs Php 9000/table. But a definitely a NO NO for me. a floating resto??? NO NO...

  • La Huerta Estate

San Isidro Pavillion

San Jose Pavillion

This one is surely out because it's too far for us. It's in antipolo. It looks nice though... :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Believe it or not we were having our coffee date when we started talking about who to get as our ninong, ninang and abay for our wedding. Then I list the names on a tissue.(if i found the tissue I'll post it here I promise) Sweet idea huh... :) That's how we started. No proposals. no questions, no arte. Just one topic and that's it. We started planning.

Here's our draft list:

  • Uncle Ces & Tita Bett
  • Uncle Nato & Tita Dolor
  • Uncle Oyoy & Tita Bubot
  • Tito Jet & Tita Precy

  • Tito Lee & Tita Pong
  • Tito Kodjik & Tita Jane

Groomsmen and Bridesmaid:
  • Christian & Ate Aih
  • Koyang & Aissa

Secondary Sponsors:

Veil: Joshua & Ainna
Cord: Kevin & Meryl

Ring Bearer: Joaquin

Bible Bearer: Chino

Flower Girls: Tiffany
Gab
Maxine

There. I'm so sure a lot will still change on this list.

That's it. Till Next Time.
