Hotel (after) - - - - Check

Days Left: 11 days as of today

When I saw at w@w that there is a 50% off on all the room rates at Richmonde in Eastwood I immediately told Charles about it. The following day we went there to check it out. First we went to the hotel but the only promo they have is for the long weekend only. When we went back to Eastwood Mall we saw a booth of Richmonde regarding their Promo. To make the long story short, we bought 2 GC worth 3,000 each with breakfast for 2. And I got confused so I have an extra GC worth 4,ooo with breakfast for 2. So I'm selling my extra GC.

We will check-in on Sept. 11 then check-out is on Sept. 13... :)
Room Type: Superior Room
Worth: 5,700 nett

(Can't wait for this much awaited rest day)

* I got the picture from Google

That's it. Till Next Time.

Busy Busy Busy

Days Left: 64 days as of today

For the past few days Charles and I have been very busy. Since he is in a call center industry and have a flexy sched. He would go to work at 3am and he would pick me up to work by 12nn eat our lunch and head off to wherever we need to go.

July 4
Went to Sulo Riviera to do some ocular. They have really nice lobby and rooms no grand staircase.
They only have 2 floors with 6 Suites & the rest are all Deluxe rooms.

Deluxe Room (Single or Twin Sharing) Php 6,754 nett.
It's a bit small for me but it will be good enough for Charles & his brother.

Jr. Suite Php 12,280 nett.
Great room, and color is our motif... :) Spacious enough for my family, photgraphers, videographers, HMUA and coordinator. I like this one.

Ambassador Suite ( 1 Bedroom or 2 Bedrooms) 1BR Php 14,736 nett, 2BR Php 19,648 nett
This is like a condo already. It is really really big. Plus they have a terrace that they can fix up for more picture moments. You can accommodate during your preps time up to I think 20 people there and still have room for your "kalats"

NOTE: As for their policy for photo shoots they have an additional fee of Php 3,000 on top of the room-rates. Meaning you can take pictures anywhere on the hotel as long as you want.
Rates are inclusive of Buffet Breakfast for 2.

After our rainy afternoon ocular at Sulo. We went to SM North and visited our coordinator since they have a Jewelry shop there. We just showed her some updates regarding the wedding. And scheduled a trip to Dangwa on July 7 (thursday).

July 5
Went to look for Charles' Parochial Church. At first we thought it was St. Peter, as told by her mom, When he went there last Sunday St. Peter said that it's Another Church. When he went to that church it was closed during Sundays and Mondays. So we went there tuesday. After almost an hour of waiting we found out that it's not that church also. Last Church that we went to is the one nearest to their house. Funny thing is Jeepney's, taxi's, motorcycles and more come and go to that Semi-village? when we stopped at the "guard house" and asked for directions and we where about to go he asked for 10 pesos because they have some roads to fix and everything. I don't want to argue anymore because we are really behind schedule and we wasted almost 2 hours of our time just to give Charles' Banns. Finally it's the right Church. He can get the Banns on the 19th for Php 100.

After that we went to Holy Spirit drive to deliver some invitations specially to one of our Ninangs. Then rain started pouring hard. We can't see anything anymore so we decided to stop at National Q. Ave first. Bought some Cartolina's for DIY and Sponsor's pen.

When the rain stopped we went to Yam Cha to make a reservation on Sunday July 10 for the very stressful and nerve racking "PAMAMANHIKAN".

Yes 2 months to go before the wedding and we will only do the Pamamanhikan. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Hotel Preps Ocular Part 1

Days Left: 172 days as of today

Charles & I Had our ocular visit at some prospective Hotels for the day itself. We didn't get a chance to visit one hotel though coz they said they are 100% booked for that day. Here's the Hotels we visited:

1. Richmonde Hotel Ortigas
> the bellboy who assists us allowed us to take pictures.

Comment:
> we love the staff there, they are so friendly and helpful.
> the rooms are not too big it's just right.
> the 1-br and 2-br suites have their own kitchen.
> we are thinking yes for this hotel.

(I Think the one br. suite will be good enough for me)

(Junior suite for the groom and his parent)

2. Imperial Suites
> sorry no pictures allowed.

Comment:
> old feeling and look.
> small rooms even for the 2-br suite.
> no no
> too bad it will be so accessible for our church

3. Astoria Plaza
> I use to love this hotel specially for the wedding preps. But due to a bad staff that we have encountered big NO NO.

Comment:
> The concierge who assisted us is very "Mataray"
> The bellboy who showed us our rooms is not answering our questions.
Simple questions like what's the difference with the room types, etc.
> When we asked for his permission if we could take pictures his answer, "Bawal po, nakita niyo naman na yung rooms eh explain niyo na lang sa kanila." Good Answer. Kainis.
> I know it's not much to complain about but if we will be their client we expect to be treated like one.

We are still waiting for a ocular visit at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel.

Happy preps. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Meeting with Lara

Days Left: 176 days as of today

Last Saturday (March 12) we had our meeting with our coordinator and I asked my MOH to accompany us so that she could meet her as well. Good thing I have my MOH beside me because Charles is not very much hearing what we are saying, he keeps on leaving us and walking around the mall... :) Oh Men!!!!!

The meeting went well. She gave me the name of a Florist because I think that's the only missing link for our wedding. We are scheduled to go to dangwa on the 26th.

We go over the suppliers that we booked already and the payments that we made. We noted some questions that need to be asked especially with the church. That's about it so far.

(MOH Cjae, Me, & Our sumesexy na Coordinator Lara)

(Finally napirmi din siya samin)

6 months more

Days Left: 182 days as of today

6 more months before our Big Day. I don't know what I'm feeling. I'm not nervous or excited yet. As for the wedding preps. We are moving a bit slow. I don't know why. Let's see what I'm doing right now.
  • I'm still updating and fixing our invitation design. Checking and checking it twice if I got the names right. -- DONE
  • Looking for a trinket to put on our wedding cord. -- DONE
  • Still waiting for the confirmation of my possible HMUA if he's available on my date. -- DONE
  • MOH and I are trying to decide what gowns is suitable for my ento. Email back and forth.
  • Waiting for the confirmation of our possible first pre-nup venue. -- DONE
  • Done with our wedding rings just need to go there 2 mos before the wedding for the final design and fitting.
I think that's about it for now.

Happy preps. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Glad he's up and about

Days Left: 193 days as of today

For the weekend Charles and I planned a trip to go to Baguio. Our first stop was supposed to be Tarlac on friday night. Then Dagupan on Saturday morning to attend a Christening, on Saturday afternoon we will be heading Baguio until Tuesday morning. But our trip was shortened due to an unfortunate event that happened to Charles.

The night we arrived at Tarlac, Charles' tita treated us for dinner at Max's. We were about to sleep at around 12mn. Charles felt pain in his lower back. His been irritable since then. I was sleeping already when I heard someone vomiting. When I look at my side Charles' not there.
I asked him what happened. He said his stomach really hurts and he's been vomiting 3 times already. He was like that for about 5 hours. Around 5:30 we took him to the hospital already cause he can't take the pain anymore.

At the ER they gave him some meds to stop him from vomiting and to ease the pain but nothing happened. So we had no choice but to admit him.

(poor hon)

(time to admit him)

(time for some rest we had a long day)

(glad he's okay now)

Diagnosis: Acute Gastritis
Sorry hon no fatty and spicy foods for you. Thank God his Ultrasound is okay no gallstones. His CBC is okay too just slightly high WBC because of vomiting. Other than that everything is Normal.

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Late Valentines Date

Days Left: 200 days as of today

It was just yesterday that Charles and I celebrated Valentines. He planned everything, I don't have any clue where we are going or what we are going to do for the night.

First of Cerchio, he made reservations by 7pm but I took so long to get ready so he called again to move the reservation by 8pm.

Orders:
Chicken Penne with Pesto Cream
Peri-peri Chicken
Thai Sinuglaw
Cool as Cucumber

The place is okay. But the food is absolutely good. :)

Second: Jack's Loft Il Terrazo. Just for dessert and coffee.

Orders:
Cappucino
Cafe White Mocha
Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake

I love love love my Cafe white mocha but the cake not so much... I wished I just ordered the warm chocolate cake.

Third: Blue Water Spa, another reservation moved from 9pm to 10:15pm.

While waiting for our room to be cleaned we stayed at their Spa Theatre and watched Wanted.
Our room has it's own toilet and bath. What a way to finish the date relax.

Thanks hon for the lovely day. I'm so proud of you, your plan was a success. We will do this again next time. But next time I'll make the plans. :)

I love you so much my soon to be husband.
200 more days to say our I do's. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Updates updates updates

Days Left: 210 days as of today

As of this day, February 10, 2011, it will be 7 more months before our BIG day... :) We are both excited and nervous at the same time. Excited because we want to see the outcome of our almost 2 years prep and nervous because we want it to be as perfect as it could get.

So moving on with the updates:

1st update:

Almost a month ago I've finished another DIY which is our Invitation. Now I am searching who can make stamps. I was about to go to retiro because when I was in college we had our stamps made there. Then Charles texted me and told me that he thinks he saw someone who makes stamps in front of National in Quezon Ave., So during my break time from work I went there and was glad that the stamp maker was still there. He's the only one who does stamps. I gave him the layout of the stamp that I want and he said it will be Php200 I asked for a discount. He gave it to me for Php180, so i agreed. He asked when I needed it. I asked how long to make he said I can have it by tomorrow morning or if I'm available around 7pm the same day. So the story ends I got the stamp for 180 pesos on the same day I had it made... :)

(our customized stamp for the envelopes)

2nd update:

2 weeks ago Charles and I decided to register at Landmark. Since we've finished our invitation and it is ready for printing as soon as my friend pm me. I want everything to be available once we want it to be sent. So we went to Landmark and the lady who assisted us said it should be at least 6mos before the wedding before we can register. But I insisted since we are there already and we "have" our invites printed already, etc etc etc. She agreed... :) It's just simple. I just signed a form and she explained to me what's the privileged of the registry and the discounts. The we will go back 2 mos before the wedding to look for the items we want all over landmark and manually write it down; how many pcs, exact brand and color. That's it. She gave us 80pcs of card that will be attached to the invitation.

(the landmark bridal registry)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)
