Much awaited rings

Days left: 30 days as of today

Wow one month to go? Is this real? Anyways I've posted at w@w regarding my rant over at Goldenhills. Here's my long rant about it.

Hi mga sis,

Medyo naiinis na ko sa Goldenhills ha. Goldehills yung unang unang supplier na
na book namin for our wedding rings sa Expo pa para nga maka discount and may
freebies. So we had our design and sizes already. Since matagal pa wedding namin
from the time that we booked them we opted for their installment basis payment.
Early this year natapos na
namin payments with them so finalize na lang ng size and design and iniba pa nga
Here's my
rant:

Trinoma saleswoman experience:
Everytime we make our payment with her lagi niyang kaming tinititigan ni h2b and
yung nakapirma sa first OR transaction namin nung expo. Ang hirap pa nun kasi
yung unang naka transact namin nalipat sa Clark branch nila. Kaya just for one
payment inaabot kami ng almost 30 mins to 1 hr. Nung last payment namin sa
kanila ganun ulit yung ginawa nung babae samin.
Nainis
I will not do this kung
ganun yung ginawa. Shejust checked the first OR eh since complete yung files na

2nd rant:
When we finalized everything so nag go na kami to do the rings kahit medyo 3
months (June 21) pa ang layo ng wedding. Sabi sakin nung bagong nagaassist samin
Last July 20/21 (1
month after the last transaction) Nag text kami sa Trinoma to inform yung sa
ipinaalala. Sabi ko sa kanila cursive yung engraving with our names and the date
just that simple. Tapos the main office texted me asking kung ano daw ang
cursive? and script daw ba yung engraving namin. Naloka ko to the highest level.
Then she told me na nakapila pa daw yung rings namin bakit sabi ko kala ko ba 1

3rd rant:

will see kung anong excuse nila.

As what I have expected when I emailed them that morning at 10 am a few minutes later they texted me and told me that our rings are ready for pick up. When I went home I've read their email that our rings was already in their store in Trinoma last July 23. They forgot to text us. Hay sus naman!!!! Good thing we loved our rings kung hindi I don't know what will happen... :)

(Finally we got our rings)

(love their box)

(Our free arrhae)

(After 2 months of waiting we get to see them)

Hotel Hotel where art thou?

Days Left: 35 days as of today

Charles wanted to booked Astoria for our wedding preps and after the wedding. I guess it's okay since we got a great deal and the room is really big. It can accommodate a lot of people specially on the day itself with all the suppliers that will come. The only thing that's keeping me from not booking them is that I think it's far from our church. Sulo Riviera is very expensive for just one night so another NO NO. So we checked out Rembrandt Hotel, the rooms are nice not too big and not too small either. The rate is okay too. No swimming pool though. I think we are considering this Hotel for the Day. :)

I wish the search for the Hotel will be done soon.

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Unique Topper - - - - Check

Days Left: 37 days as of today

The night after we talked to Sir Ceasar of Hearts and Bells. I immediately went online to look for a unique cake topper. After hours of researching and looking for the most affordable one. I came across to this site.

She uses polymer clay for the toppers and other charms that she makes.

What is Polymer Clay? (according to Wikipedia)

Polymer clay is a sculptable material based on the polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It usually contains no clay minerals, and is only called "clay" because its texture and working properties resemble those of mineral clay. It is sold in craft, hobby, and art stores, and is used by artists, hobbyists, and children.

Polymer clays all contain a basis of PVC and one or more of several kinds of liquid plasticizer.[1] Pigments may be added to the translucent base to create a variety of colors, along with small amounts of kaolin or white china clay or other opaquing agents where opacity is desired. Mica may be added to simulate pearlescent and metallic effects.

After 2 days of messaging back and forth and passed the order form. I made it official by depositing the Down payment.

Cake Design

Days Left: 38 days as of today

Last July 13 we met with Sir Ceasar, cake artist of Hearts & Bells, for our cake design. It was a fast meeting because we know what we wanted for our cake already. Of course we still want to incorporate our theme with the cake. While we are discussing the design and colors of the cake he took our a paper and his color pens. He just started doodling and while doodling he is explaining to us our cake topper. I told him I want to preserved our topper because it is a unique one. They don't have any other materials that they can use to preserved the topper because they only use fondant for it. I told him I'll just look for a supplier for that. We will received the final design of our cake after 2 days.

Sorry no pictures yet... I want it to be a surprise... But trust me It is so cute can't wait to see the final product. :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Lights & Sounds

Days Left: 56 days as of today

I texted Elmer if he is still available on our Date. After 20 hrs he replied and sadly he is not available anymore, I asked him if he can recommend someone like his other team but he did not reply anymore. So i decided to look for other suppliers. I looked for Sensitivity but I read that their at least 3x higher that Rejectcrew, then I saw Jamsy. The following day I texted them if they are still available on our Date. After a few hours he replied and said Yes. I asked how much. He said their lowest rate is 8k. Then after a few back and forth text messaging he called and asked regarding the venue and so on. So I just asked if we could meet up instead. Eventhough they are from Paranaque he agreed to meet us at SM North Edsa.

July 13
We met Sir Arnold regarding their Lights and Sounds. He brought some pictures of the events they covered. Mostly on Mandarin Hotel. I don't know anything about lights and sounds so he and Charles just talked about it. What lights to use and the machines they use for the sounds, etc. After a few more minutes we decided to come to one of their event to see the actual set up and sounds that they do for a wedding. We paid 1k just to close the date. And he will just text me or email me the events here in Quezon City.

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Entourage Measurement

Days Left: 59 days as of today

The first plan was, Charles will pick up Sondy (the mananahi) at Circle C and he will bring them at my house. I am willing to pay the 1,000 as long as my Ento is complete. But then we changed the plan the day itself when I found out that only 5 will be coming. So we immediately call everyone who will come to just go to Circle C instead and we will meet them there.

(MOH, after asking a ton of questions for her gown on her
Dec. wedding finally we can go on with her measurements, peace bru.)

(Carla, one of my Bridesmaid)

(Bri, one of our Secondary Sponsor)

(Makukulit na flower girls)

(Gaby, is so shy while taking her measurements)

(Isabella, a 7 yr old texting flower girl)

Missing Entos:
3 Bridesmaids, 2 Secondary Sponsor, & 1 Flowergirl

The fitting will be on Aug. 15. Excited to see the gowns... :)

That's it. Till Next Time.

Happy Preps... :)

Flowers - - - - - Check

Days Left: 63 days as of today

As per schedule Charles, Lara (our coordinator) & I went to dangwa to visit the Florist that lara recommended.

When we went to the shop the owner, Ate Lanie, showed us some pictures of the bouquets and set up in the church that they made. We started envisioning the flowers/bouquets for the ento since I don't know what I want yet for my bouquet. She showed me every flower that she is saying or suggesting. Beforehand I told Lara that I don't know anything about flowers that's why I asked her to accompany us with the florist for her help. So the two of them combined their powers with everything. They just show me pictures for me to see what is what. When we agreed with the flowers to be used for everyone including me and also for the church. Ate Lanie started computing. Lara immediately said "Ate major major discount ha, may isa pa akong kasal na dadalin sayo" we all laughed and she didn't hesitated with the discount. Thank you ate.
