Or also known as "pamahiin". We pinoys have lots and lots of pamahiin and getting married is no excuse with this traditions. Here are a few of them:
- Brides shouldn't try on her wedding dress before the wedding day or the wedding will not push through.
- Giving arinola (chamberpot) on the couple as wedding gifts is said to be goodluck.
- Couples who's wedding is near should avoid long drives or traveling because they are accident-prone.
- If it rains during the ceremony means prosperity and happiness for the couple.
- The groom must arrive before the bride at the church to avoid bad luck.
